For five days, we immersed ourselves in the rich culture of one of Thailand’s six predominant tribes, the Karen Hill Tribe. This experience was intense and deeply impactful, offering us important, fundamental lessons that are often overlooked in our busy, distraction-filled modern lives.
BANGKOK, CITY OF COLORS
Observing, absorbing, and processing have become our essence. I realized that Asia is found in its people, not in luxury or parties. The true Asia, the culture we seek, lies in the places off the beaten path – in narrow streets lined with countless overlapping houses. These streets, often away from tourists, may evoke a sense of fear, but it is in these hidden corners that the real treasure is found.
